NATURAL TEAS
As part of our work in collective healing and developing livelihoods in the green and care economies, Awehness has developed a range of ice teas with health benefits to sell at local markets in Cape Town.
These teas feature medicinal herbs, use all natural ingredients, and discourage single-use packaging. Please return the glass or bottle to get your deposit back.
The proceeds go towards diversifying our income streams so we are not solely reliant on grant funding.
As sales grow, we will use tea stands at local markets as platforms for youth training in entrepreneurship.
LUNg love
Lung Love contains 6 herbs traditionally used to support lungs and clear airways for deeper breathing.
This tea may comfort smokers and relieve seasonal congestion.
This tea is caffeine-free.
Precautions: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have bleeding disorders or are on blood thinners or blood pressure medication, please do not drink this tea as some of the herbs could affect you negatively.
Ingredients: Thyme leaf, marshmallow leaf and root, plantain leaf, peppermint leaf, calendula flower, mullein leaf; rooibos, honey, cranberry & apple/grape juice.
Peaceful
Peaceful is a child-friendly blend of calming herbs and sweet gentle flavours, with no added sugar.
It can be enjoyed by adults too!
This tea is caffeine-free.
Ingredients: Camomile flowers, lavender flower, rooibos, honeybush, vanilla, honey, apple juice.
Connect
Connect contains 5 herbs traditionally used to elevate mood, reduce anxiety and ignite passion.
This blend was crafted to provide an alternative to alcohol at social gatherings, to open the heart to love.
This tea is caffeine-free.
Precautions: If you are under 18, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have underlying mood disorders, please do not drink this tea as some of the herbs could affect you negatively.
Ingredients: Blue Lotus flower, Sceletium, Damiana leaf, Ashwagandha; Hibiscus, Passionflower, Rooibos, spearmint, honey, Pomegranate and apple/grape juice.
